These rough gemstone studs are handcrafted by Javid Noori in collaboration with UK designer Pippa Small for Turquoise Mountain. They are finished in simple gold-plated prong settings.

Afghanistan is home to an array of spectacular gems, most of which are cultivated from the northeast ancient mines of the Hindu Kush mountains.
